What is Cyked?

Cyked is a better, faster, safer way for students studying at the schools and colleges below to get around during the day:

  • Bradley Stoke Community School
  • Patchway Community College
  • Abbeywood Community School
  • Filton College

There are 40 loan bikes available between the four schools. For a deposit of £25, a bike can loaned for one academic year. A cycle helmet, a lock and lights are also available.

New routes have been built to connect these five campuses providing safe and simple ways to get from school to school.

How to get Cyked

It’s very simple to get cyked and get a bike.

  • Read through the Cyked user agreement (contact one of the schools above for more information).
  • Register for Cyked in September and pay the £25 deposit.
  • Free assessments will be offered to assess cycling ability.
  • Collect your bike from your home school and accessories which are yours for the academic year.
  • Return your bike and accessories in good working order at the end of the academic year and collect your deposit.
