Cycle Parking

There are bicycle racks and lockers across the Cycle West area. You will always find facilities at railway stations, libraries and in most shopping areas.

You can greatly reduce the chance of having your bicycle stolen by locking it to a cycle stand with a good quality lock.It is also a good idea to secure both the frame and wheels and to remove small parts such as lights and pumps.

If you know of somewhere where new cycle parking facilities would be useful or where there are not enough facilities, please let us know and we will try to get some cycle parking  installed.

How to find cycle parking

The easiest way to find cycle parking locations is on the range of maps 'A map for cyclists’ where cycle parking is marked. The range of four includes Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and are available on the appropriate council's website.

Need cycle parking?

Cycle West support a project called 'Take a Stand' which provides FREE cycle racks to small businesses, voluntary organisations and charities.

Run in partnership with the charity Life Cycle UK, the scheme supplies cycle racks free of charge. Installation of racks is the responsibility of the applicants but Lifecycle can help you arrange this.

If you are a voluntary sector group, school, small business, church or surgery, apply for your free cycle stand by filling in the Take a Stand application form.
